About Us

We are a sweet Mom and Pop of two equally sweet daughters living in Langley BC, Canada. We started The Candy Curio Treat Shop because we wanted to open a store where we could give back to our community and what better way to do that than with CANDY! As an High School Education Assistant, Katherine wanted to open a store that allowed disabled youth an opportunity to gain work experience and skills. Since our opening we have created opportunities for a handful of youth to read, pick, pack and quality control orders as well as practice customer service and stocking skills. As we continue to grow we hope to provide more volunteer and paid opportunities for those who require additional support. We also started our candy store because we love the idea of giving unique and tasty gifts to friends and loved ones, but please don't forget to Treat Yourself 🤎
